Yo ! back from camp !
This camp seirously rocks(!) Group 5 consist of Da Seul ( Korea) ,Martyna ( Poland), Tatu ( Tanzania) , Siliver ( Negeria ), Ameen ( Libya) , Daniel ( Uruguay), Hillary from overseas . & local students are Stella , Eddie , Mark , Alif & Me .
Day 1;08/12 After the arrival of Participants,we were sperated into groups.Me went into group 5,after that in the afternoon,had team-building games until 5pm .thn went back to room bath & prepare for the important event of the camp xD .At night, Opening Ceremony & World Festival start ! It was held at the place near the swimming pool ..all kind of foods & games were available . still got a small dancing place (in between the pools ) for those participants to 'high'with the DJ & songs .. ard 9plus ,went back to dining hall to dismiss back to room.
Day 2;09/12 In the morning,have Sports Exploration,choose Tchoukball & won 4 games in a row after learning the basic of it .Trashed the 3rd team , 10-2 althought that team is quited strong. At 11 am,went back to room & changed for lunch at 12noon, after that had Workshops until 5plus . At 6pm,had dinner at dining hall before the programme 'Chat with Champions; Session 1' .3 Champions had been invited to this event ,they are Veronica Campbell-Brown,Asafa Powell & Dexter Lee.
Veronica Five-time Olympic medalist, six-time World Championship medalist and only the second female athlete in history to win the 200m at two consecutive Olympic Games.
Asafa Well-known in the world of athletics and is a 100m specialist.held the 100m world record and has won Olympic,Commonwealth and World Champhion medals.won at IAAF World Athletics Final five times and 100m record holder for the event
Dexter Noc:Jamaica,age 18,has alrdy won the World Youth and Junior 100m titles. the whole event end ard 9plus - 10pm .aft that went back to room.
Day 3;10/12 From morning till late afternoon ,went to obs for island adventure ..did rock climbing,jetty jump & power boat( instead of row boat; lazy to get wet again =.= ) went on power boat,visit a fisher's hse,pull up one of their hunting net :x & of cause create waves to disturb other participants whom are on the row boat . At night,had 'Chat with Champions; Session 2' ,this time is Michael Klim;one of the most well-known Australian swimmers and has been successful in international competitions. A triple Olympians,world record swim in the first leg of Australia's record-breaking 4x100m freestyle relay at Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Day 4;11/12 From morning till late afternoon,went to Chinatown & URA for the programme 'Downtown Rendezvous' & after dinner ,had Group Project : Photo Scrapbook .
Day 5;12/12 Morning had another Sports Exploration,this time joined Inline Skating.Abt 11am,went back for lunch before headin toward one of the national park for Community Project:Environmental Conservation until 4plus-5pm head back to sku .At night,had Closing Ceremony Departure of Participants,ard 9plus.all cry tgt cause cant bear to leave one another..
